I'm Mark and I'm most likely to be the first person you'll speak to. I've been rocking the world with Ableton Live for the last eight years and I'm really enjoying sharing my knowledge of music production and DJing with the next generation of musicians.
Hi, I'm David and I'm responsible for the DJing side of Ableton DJ Course. I've been using Ableton Live for over seven years and since writing the Essentials Course for Ableton DJ Course I've spent my whole time, performing with, talking about and teaching Ableton Live.
No matter where you are in the world, you can learn to master Ableton Live with training from Ableton DJ Course. There's no travel time and you can connect to your teacher anytime, anywhere. It's personalised training like no other - at your desk, at your pace and tailored to you! No matter what you'd like to do with Ableton Live, producing, DJing or performing live, one of our tutors will be able to guide you.
Using Skype's screen sharing and video call features we can guide you through your lesson on-screen, face-to-face and in real-time. Demonstrating the most up-to-date techniques, alongside all the core skills and methods we will teach you how to make Ableton Live really work for you.
Show us your projects and we will help you to develop and improve your own individual style. Best of all, you are in control of the content of the lesson, if you want to stop, go back, change subject, repeat a section or ask questions it's entirely up to you.
Simply contact us to arrange a time for your lesson and then pay for your training time through the paypal link. At the agreed time sign-in to Skype and call us up at Ableton DJ Course. We can then take you through your lesson demonstrating exactly what you want to learn. As we progress any files and resources you need can be easily transferred to you via Skype.
Skype: to get this go to the Skype website and follow the link 'Get Skype' to download it for either Windows or Mac. You will need to sign up for a free Skype account which enables you to get free Skype to Skype calls worldwide.
Ableton Live: this should be installed and running before your lesson. Make sure that you can hear Ableton Live at the same time that you can hear the output from Skype.
Microphone & speakers: you need either a Skype compatible headset or a microphone and speakers. You can use the built in microphone on a laptop.
Webcam (optional): this isn't essential, but will allow us to see more easily what you're up to.
Good internet: you need a fast enough connection to run video calls on Skype. On a slower connection there may be a delay in how quickly the video updates.
To allow you to test our service before you pay for it we are offering all new customers a free, no-obligation 30 minute trial with one of our tutors. This will give you the opportunity to talk to them about what you're interested in and to find out for yourself how much you could learn.
